The Best Breakfast Spots In Springdale, Utah, 2023

Springdale is the gateway to Zion National Park for most visitors. This small town is bustling with great restaurants, and it is the best place to seek out your breakfast before a day of exploring. Along Zion Park Blvd, the main road in Springdale, you will find full-service restaurants and lots of places to pick up a quick bite, think coffee shop or cafe. You won’t find much fast food in Springdale, which is good. You are on vacation; take some time and enjoy your meal. I have pulled together a list of good options when you are looking for a place to eat. So here is my list of the best breakfast spots in Springdale, Utah.

Full Menu Restaurants and Cafes

Oscar’s Cafe: You could literally spend the entire day here. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all good. Oscar’s is open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for most of the year. This place is part Mexican restaurant, part local diner. The friendly service and large portions are what keep people coming back. Breakfast offers omelets, pancakes, french toast, and, of course, breakfast burritos. One of the favorite dinner dishes is the Pork Verde burrito; if you liked it for dinner, you’ll love it for breakfast. Only this version has scrambled eggs. It is a significant portion, just like all the other items. Oscar’s has both indoor and outdoor seating available.

The Park House Cafe: Located a short drive along Zion Park Boulevard is The Park House Cafe. The full-service cafe is among the best spots for breakfast items and lunch. They make a great traditional Eggs Benedict and another version called The Tomavo, two poached eggs on a muffin with tomato and Avocado topped with hollandaise sauce. You will find some nice lighter fare in the Park House Parfait and the homemade organic granola. Offering both indoor seating as well as outdoors.

Flanigan’s Inn & Restaurant (The Spotted Dog Cafe): One of the best dinner restaurants near Zion National Park. In the evening, they offer a more fine dining experience in a casual atmosphere featuring delicious food and great service. They also offer a breakfast menu featuring lighter fare such as seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, scrambled egg specialties, and sweeter options such as french toast. This is an excellent option if you are staying nearby in Springdale and it’s right on the shuttle stop. They are closed during the winter season.

Cafe Soleil: This tiny cafe is a relaxed eatery located right at the mouth of Zion Park. Known for great beverages, they also offer a few breakfast options. Menu items include breakfast croissant sandwiches, burritos, and oatmeal. It is also a good place for a lunch take out order to enjoy in the park.

MeMe’s Cafe: This might be my favorite of the best breakfast spots in Springdale, Utah. The friendly staff and the location are excellent. And the food is well prepared. You definitely should try this place during your stay. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring a great line-up of crepes, including Bee’s Knees (bananas, honey, and sweet cream, yum), the breakfast crepe (eggs, cheddar cheese, and ham), or the momma’s favorite crepe (Nutella, banana, and cream). The omelets and breakfast sandwiches are great as well. They also make a good cup of coffee. Offering both indoor and outdoor dining options.

Coffee and Cafe Options

Feellove Coffee Zion: This is a cute, funky little coffee shop right before you enter Zion Park. The draw here is the specialty coffee drinks, but they also offer food. They serve some great pastries and baked goods. My favorite was the raspberry turnover, which was light, flaky, and sweet. Also offering bagels and parfait options as well. The coffee and drinks are some of the better in town as well. As with many of these restaurants, this place has one of the many great scenic views of Zion you can enjoy during breakfast.

Deep Creek Coffee Company: This is one of the best places for great coffee and tea in Springdale. They also offer several breakfast food options, including oats, quinoa bowls, burritos, and acai bowls. The focus is healthier foods (with some vegan food options), but they are tasty all the same. The views here are also great; check out the second-level outdoor dining area.

Springdale has a lot of options to help you fuel up for a long day of exploring Zion National Park. Your hotel might have a complimentary breakfast, but I would check one of these best breakfast spots in Springdale, Utah, one morning. The food and beverages are good at all of these options.
